CCG - Staff Trainings

Staff Trainings

CCG is committed to providing high quality staff training for all of our coaches to ensure that they are up to date on the latest safety information, coaching techniques and teaching methods. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our comprehensive training programs designed to keep our team updated, certified and skillful in all aspects of gymnastics coaching.

Monthly Staff Meetings

Our monthly staff meetings are essential for keeping our team aligned and informed. During these meetings, we cover important updates, reinforce key responsibilities, and provide technical training to ensure that coaches are equipped with the latest techniques and safety protocols.

Congress

Each year, a handful of our top coaches attend Congress, a premier conference hosted by USA Gymnastics. This event is an invaluable opportunity for our staff to learn from industry leaders, attend workshops, and network with other professionals, allowing us to bring the latest coaching innovations back to our gym.

Mini-Congress

Following the annual USA Gymnastics Congress, our staff who attended the event host a Mini-Congress at our gym. During this session, they share the valuable insights from lectures they attended, ensuring that all of our coaches benefit from the cutting-edge knowledge and best practices discussed at Congress. This internal event fosters collaboration and continuous learning among our team, helping us stay at the forefront of gymnastics coaching.

CPR, First Aid & Concussion Training

Safety is our top priority. That’s why we provide annual CPR, First Aid and concussion training for all our staff. This training ensures that our coaches are prepared to respond effectively in any emergency, creating a safe environment for our athletes.

Our concussion training is with Stacey Ritter, MS ATC, certified athletic trainer, sports medicine care & concussion specialist. She does extensive training to educate our staff on how to take concussions seriously by knowing the signs & symptoms. Learn more about Stacey Ritter here:
